  • Golden Paws Pet Services is owned and operated by Stephanie Krilavicius.  Stephanie recieved her Animal Care Certificate from Sheridan College in 2008.  She is trained and experienced in animal anatomy, husbandry, behavior, nursing, handling and CPR.  She is also a lifelong pet owner.

 

  • Golden Paws is a registered member of  Pet Sitters International.

 

  • The company is insured and bonded.  For further safety, no dogs are ever allowed off leash unless in a fenced backyard.  They must all wear collars, with their vaccination and registration tags.

 

  • There is a maximum of 3 dogs per group walk.  This provides each dog with more attention than in a larger setting.  It also helps the dog walker maintain a safe level of control. 

  

  •  All pet owners must sign a Veterinary Release form which gives Golden Paws the authority to bring the animal to the vet in case of emergency (at owners expense).

 

  • Golden Paws uses unmarked cars, which keeps your absence discreet. 

 

  • Pet journals are included in all of our services.  This is a book in which the days events are logged for the pet owner.  It may include a description of the walking area as well as any health or behavioral concerns. 

 

  • Upon the customer’s initiation of our services, we set up a free consultation with the pet and its owner(s).  During this consultation, behavioral and health concerns of the animal are explained.  All payment information is discussed, as well as any questions that the pet owners may have about our services.  The consultation also offers an opportunity for the animal to familiarize itself with Stephanie.  We will also ask that all legal forms be signed and if requested, a key to the residence be given to Stephanie Krilavicius.
