Golden Paws is a dog walking and pet sitting service operating in Bolton, Caledon East, Palgrave, and Nobleton.  We provide love, exercise and attention to your pets when you are unavailable.  “Accidents” in the house, extreme rambunctiousness at night, and boredom leading to property destruction are becoming common occurances in busy households.  A quick break during the day can help reduce such behaviour, as well as keep your animal feeling comfortable and happy.  We can give your favourite furry/feathered/scaled friend a walk or visit during the day to keep them feeling loved as well as physically fit!

        Going away but not sure what to do with your pet?  Here are some great reasons why you should hire                                          a pet sitter to look after your best friend:

Reduced Stress - Pets are creatures of habit.  They like their territory and their routine.  Taking them along with you may cause great turmoil in some pets.  Taking them to a boarding facility may be just as scary, with strange people, strange animals, and strange environments.  Stressful situations often cause animals to cease eating.  It can also lower immunity, making them at greater risk of becoming ill.  Hiring a pet sitter keeps your pet in it's safe place.  Golden Paws Pet Services tries to maintain your animal's daily routine so as to provide as little disruption as possible.  This reduces the likelihood of household "accidents" and keeps your pet comfortable.

Health Maitenance - When pets are taken out of their home, such as on vacation or to a boarding facility, they may be exposed to new environments which harbour disease.  Your pet is vaccinated against common diseases which may be found in your area.  If taken to another country, they may be exposed to new diseases which don't necessarily exist here and therefore are not covered in our vaccines.  Although most boarding facilities strive to maintain sanitary conditions, they can not always prevent ill animals from entering into their care.  Many airborne diseases are transmitted in these settings.  Keeping your pet at home is a safe way to ensure your pet's health is at it's best!

No Impositions - Relying on a family member, friend, or neighbor may be convenient to you, but is it convenient for them?  Golden Paws Pet Services is comfortable and experienced in caring for all types of pets.  We always have time to provide your buddy with the TLC he/she deserves!  It's what we're here for!

Peace of Mind - While you are away, you can rest assured that your pet and your home are well taken care of.  Golden Paws Pet Services is certified in Animal Care and Pet First Aid/CPR.  We know what to look for and what to do should your pet fall ill during your absence.  We are insured and bonded so there is no need to worry about us entering your home.  We adjust window treatments and lighting, water plants, pick up mail, and anything else you request in order to give your house a "lived in" appearance while you are away.
